Submission Guidelines
The Fantasy Lingerie Directory's Purpose
The Fantasy Lingerie Directory was created with a two-fold purpose. The first purpose is to assist Internet searchers looking for specific types of clothing and accessories websites. That function is served by providing those users with an easy to navigate and searchable directory with relevant results that have been inspected and approved for inclusion. All sites submitted for inclusion in the Fantasy Lingerie Directory must be relevant to the category in which they are placed.
The second purpose of this directory is to provide website owners, webmasters, and SEO companies with a means of driving traffic to the site(s) they represent at no cost. This directory is designed to be SEO friendly by taking advantage of the power of reciprocal link exchanges. Reciprocal link exchanges have no value unless the sites exchanging links are related, and the pages containing the links have a decent pagerank. We provide incentives to websites to place our reciprocal link on a high ranking page, such as their homepage. These incentives include higher placement in the directory, and a possible featured listing on either the directory homepage or on a category page.
What are "Featured Listings"?
Featured listings displayed on the Fantasy Lingerie Directory's homepage consist of the top 10 sites in the entire directory based on the pagerank of our reciprocal link. The Category Featured Listings are determined the same way except it lists the top 10 sites listed in that specific category.
Why this strategy is beneficial to both the directory and the sites it lists
It's actually quite simple. By placing a link to this directory on a webpage that has a higher pagerank, the pagerank of this directory will in turn increase. When the pagerank of this directory increases, the category page your site is listed on should increase as well, thus increasing the value of your listing in this directory. The value of your site listing continues to gain value as other sites list a link to this directory on a higher pagerank webpage also. Again, as the pagerank of this directory increases, the value of your listing again increases. As the value of your listing increases, your pagerank should also increase, which in turn increases the pagerank of the directory category page your site is listed on. You see, by listing your site in this directory, it practically becomes a cyclical process of increasing each others pagerank!
Duration of Listings
Sites accepted into the Fantasy Lingerie Directory are listed for lifetime inclusion. The only ways in which a listing will be removed is if the listed site is changed, and the changes made to the site cause it to fall into the "Prohibited Sites" category described below. Listings may also be removed if our web crawler can not find the reciprocal link placed to the Fantasy Lingerie Directory on that listed site. The Fantasy Lingerie Directory also reserves the right to remove a listing should the reciprocal link to this directory be moved from a page with a higher pagerank to a page with no pagerank. Moving the link to the lower pagerank webpage defeats the purpose of being listed in this directory and is thus frowned upon. Any listed site that does this will be notified prior to removal and given seven days to rectify the problem.
Types of Sites Allowed
This directory lists sites pertaining to intimate apparel, sexy clothing, beauty, romantic gifts, glamour and more. Check to see if your site is appropriate by visiting some of the categories. Submissions are accepted from USA, Canada and other countries.
Prohibited
We will not accept any website into the directory that:
- Participates in random promotional "Web Rings"
- Has been banned from any of the three major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN)
- Promotes illegal activity
- Links directly to images depicting explicit sexual acts
- Contains illegal images of underage persons
- Consists only of affiliate links (with no products, services, or information)
- Is still under construction (site must be completed)
- Attempts to install adware/software on a visitor's computer (without permission)
Should a website, after placement in the directory (via submission or by advertising), violate the above guidelines, the site is subject to removal without notification.
How to Avoid Submission Delays
To expedite a submission, first select the most appropriate category for your site or webpage. Use the official name of your site in the title. Keywords can be added as long as they are appropriate to the category the site is being submitted to, and the 40 character limit is not exceeded. Example: "Discount Bridal Lingerie at Your Lingerie Site". Use as many descriptive words in the description field (100 character minimum) without exceeding the 250 character limit. Refrain from using promotional language such as "our products are the best", "we're # 1 on the web", etc.
Please do not use ALL CAPS, or all lower case letters in the title. Make sure misspellings are corrected too (so we won't have to). We will try to review your site submission and add your listing to the directory within 2 business days.
Categories
We will include a listing that links to an interior page of a submitted website as long as the page itself is relevant to the category it is being listed in. However, only one listing per website will be included in this directory. Subdomains will be treated as individual websites as long as they contain a minimum of 10 related pages and don't violate any of the guidelines found under "Prohibited Sites" above. If you feel that we have omitted a category that should be included in the directory, enter it in the submission form text box area that asks for a category suggestion and we will consider creating it.
Our Editorial Rights
We reserve the right to edit titles and descriptions, and/or deny any submission. We also reserve the right to place listings in the most appropriate category in order to maintain the integrity of our directory.
We further reserve the right to remove a site from the directory if the site has been deactivated by its host, inaccessible for a long period of time, or in violation of the terms explained above.

How to Submit a Site
Simple...First place a link to this directory on your website using one of the linking methods found on the Link to Us page. Then go to the Suggest a Site page and complete our simple submission form.
